Our signature four-workshop program that builds leadership intelligence in first time managers. Each workshop builds on the previous one, creating a solid foundation that your newly promoted managers can use immediately.

First Time Manager Accelerator Program

For an even more robust training experience, you can choose a six-month program that teaches an expanded set of management skills through interactive workshops and group coaching. The final list of topics is a function of what’s most important to the manager population at hand, but here is a sample curriculum that could be covered over the course of the program:

Month 1: Building Foundational Trust

Learn essential management techniques that help managers feel prepared, confident, and genuinely connected to your team. This month focuses on establishing the trust and rapport that underlies all effective management relationships.

Month 2: Giving and Receiving High Quality Feedback

Master the art of managing energy and time allocation to work more efficiently and effectively. This month covers practical techniques for identifying when each leader works best and restructuring schedules to maximize impact as a leader.

Month 4: Managing Inclusively

Creating an environment where all employees feel they belong is a core management skill in today's workplace. Learn practical approaches to build inclusive teams that everyone genuinely enjoys being part of.

Month 5: Developing Others

Discover how to use coaching techniques to dramatically improve relationships with direct reports, while also helping them grow. Learn a straightforward coaching model and when to apply it for maximum impact.

Month 6: Retaining Your Talent

One of the main reasons people are loyal to companies is because they feel their manager is invested in their career. We teach how to structure meaningful career conversations that demonstrate investment in team members' professional growth. This month focuses on the relationship-building and goal-setting skills that create lasting employee loyalty.

1-on-1 Leadership Coaching

With Elevate’s coaching program, each manager is paired with a dedicated coach who will work closely with them to identify challenges, opportunities, and goals. The process starts with an in-depth assessment, including gathering feedback from members of the manager’s team. Our coach then helps craft a personalized action plan and tracks progress through 1-on-1 coaching sessions, arranged to fit with busy schedules.

Coaching Office Hours

Looking for a more scalable solution for a group of newly promoted managers? Office hours are a cost-effective option to provide 1-on-1 coaching to a large group of managers. A coach is available for a set time each week or month for coaching sessions. Managers in your group can then sign up for a session whenever they need one.

On-Demand Learning

We created Elevate Academy to enable ongoing digital learning for new and seasoned managers alike. Elevate Academy is a way to provide on-demand access to leadership development courses via beautifully produced short-form videos.
