Brian is a certified executive coach and team workshop facilitator. He spent the first 20 years of his career in fast-paced, high-growth environments. He began his professional path evaluating high-growth technology investments, working at several early-stage companies, and earning his MBA from Stanford. Brian then founded two companies: an HR tech startup which was acquired after eight years and a professional soccer team in San Francisco which won the national championship in its first year of existence. These experiences taught him firsthand the exhilarations and challenges of fundraising, building high-performing teams, rapidly scaling businesses, and so much more.
Brian’s background affords him a unique perspective on the realities of his clients’ high-expectation environments. From that shared understanding, he creates opportunities for powerful lessons and insights via proven frameworks and practices. Using directed inquiry, Brian serves as a mirror to help highlight the blind spots and opportunities for change that we all have. He then works with individuals and teams to make that change a reality. Clients describe Brian’s style as intentional and caring; their number includes individuals from companies such as Meta and Genentech, as well as from early-stage startups and venture capital firms.
Brian grew up moving internationally every two years and speaks multiple languages, instilling in him an open and inclusive outlook on people and life. After his second startup, he went on a global Spiritual Year filled with beautiful lessons and experiences, which deepened his dedication to continuous learning and connection. Brian lives in San Francisco where he wears many hats, including that of a devoted family man, coach to entrepreneurs, advisor, angel investor, and beach lover.
