Before executive coaching, Brian spent 20 years in fast-paced, high-growth environments at investment firms and startups. He started his career evaluating high-growth technology investments. After earning an MBA from Stanford and working at early-stage companies, Brian founded two companies. He first started an HR tech startup which was acquired after eight years and then co-founded the professional soccer team in San Francisco which won the national championship. These experiences taught him firsthand everything from fundraising to building+managing high-performing teams and so much more.
As a certified executive coach, Brian understands the realities faced in high-expectation environments and creates opportunities for powerful lessons and insights via proven coaching frameworks and practices. Through directed inquiry, Brian serves as a mirror to help highlight the blind spots and opportunities for change that we all have. He then works with clients to make that change a reality. Clients describe Brian’s coaching style as intentional and caring. Clients include employees from companies such as Meta, Genentech as well as from early-stage startups and venture capital firms.
Personally, Brian grew up moving every two years internationally and speaks multiple languages, so he has a very open and inclusive outlook on people and life. After his second startup, Brian went on a global Spiritual Year filled with beautiful lessons and experiences. He’s a continuous learner and after completing the University of Oxford's Impact Investing Programme, Brian began making angel investments in sectors such as environmental sustainability.
