Julia Velloso is a certified executive coach, team coach, facilitator, and Fractional Head of People, working with senior leaders, cofounders, and fast-growth organizations. With over 20 years of experience spanning the hospitality, healthcare tech, and web3/fintech industries, Julia specializes in developing powerful leadership, healthy work cultures, and people strategies optimized for business growth.

As Airbnb’s first internal coach, Julia developed and facilitated Leadership and Learning Programs during a period of hypergrowth. She also scaled and led People & Culture functions in fast-paced organizations, including expanding one company nationally with 2x employee growth year over year for four years and building a 20-person People & Culture team. In another role, she guided a global, remote-first organization through strategic pivots and reorganizations. Julia’s coaching clients include startup cofounders and leaders at companies such as Airbnb, Google, Adobe, and Unilever.

With the first decade of her career spent in operator roles across marketing, customer experience, and workforce management, Julia brings a deep understanding of business operations, allowing her to offer leaders practical, actionable strategies. As an investor-operator for a venture capital fund focused on mission-driven founders and global impact, Julia partners closely with founders to provide coaching and HR consulting.

Her engagements range from designing custom workshops and leading transformational offsites to providing high-impact coaching for teams and leaders, as well as strategic HR consulting.

Julia is a certified coach through the Coactive Training Institute and the International Coaching Federation, and holds certifications in various tools for team and leadership coaching, including ORSC, Insights Discovery, CliftonStrengths, Leadership Circle Profile, and Enneagram. She is also a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and French.
