Jess is an executive coach with experience as an executive, advisor, mentor and investor in startups. Jess has spent over 20 years in technology across multiple industries. She has developed and scaled high performing teams within large corporations as well as high growth startups. In addition to her enthusiasm for building products, teams, and organizations, she is passionate about helping leaders grow into their capabilities, achieve their maximum potential and meet their goals in a way that feels authentic to them.
In her most recent position, as CTO of Guild Education, Jess was responsible for the product and technology strategy as the company grew from a $10M valuation to a valuation of over $4B. She built and grew her organization from the ground up from 1 to over 250 employees. Jess has first hand experience operating in fast paced, complex, and high stakes environments. She has lived through many of the challenges leaders face when scaling teams and organizations.
Through this lived experience Jess has developed an empathy and passion to help other leaders more efficiently and easily navigate their path forward. Jess helps leaders get unstuck, navigate boundaries, uncover new possibilities, build confidence, accelerate their own growth, find their voice and influence others. She helps leaders hit their big goals all while being able to do it authentically and live the lives they want to live.
Jess has a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota and has studied executive and leadership coaching through the Executive Coaching Certification program at Berkeley.
